The Waldorf Cocktail

Waldorf Astoria New York's iconic Peacock Alley bar is being restored to its original grandeur, reclaiming its place as a premier cocktail destination for locals and visitors alike. Honoring its legacy, the menu will feature original creations first invented at Peacock Alley.


INGREDIENTS
Makes one serving
1.5 ounces New York Distilling
Company Jaywalk Rye
0.75 ounce Carpano Antica
Vermouth (sweet vermouth)
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Rinse of St. George Absinthe
Lemon coin for garnish
(a circular slice of peel)


DIRECTIONS
Rinse a chilled Nick & Nora glass with absinthe and set aside.
Add ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir for 30 seconds until chilled.
Strain into prepared glass and garnish with a lemon coin.
